From May 30 to June 3, 2002, I spent about six hours looking
through the 570 images that Art.com has in its "Garden Pathways" gallery. Out of 570 images,
I
found 91 that are of exceptional beauty. Each of these 91 images exhibits a
very special quality of realism, balance, and order. Many of them are in the fantastic category.
All
of them are in the category of spiritually nourishing. And this is important, because, as we
work
day by day to regain our ability to relate to God, it is important that we work to re-acclimatize
our
consciousness to the quality of beauty, for the simple reason that God is not simply the source
of
all beauty, but God IS beauty. Each one of these images is like unto a bridge that transports our
awareness into the vibratory region of beauty, and thus, into a greater proximity to God our
Father
and our Mother.
Viewing these images here, will provide an important contact with that region of beauty
wherein God resides. But, if an image is truly spiritually nourishing, as each of these are, then
the
best thing to do would be to have them on your walls around the house or office so that your
eyes
can come into contact with one or more of them many times over the course of the day. And
this
is especially true when you are looking at the full sized poster print. In support of that
important
goal, each image is linked to the corresponding Art.com info page. If you see an image that
you
truly love, and you have a place to hang it, then you can click right through and have them ship
it
to you on the spot. Getting your hands (and eyes) on true art has never been so easy.
The images are organized in the order that we found them in the Art.com "Garden
Pathways"
gallery with the exception of Image 01 (The Old Lighthouse) which was included (out of order)
in
the introduction to the Garden Pathways mailings because of its unique relevance.
Clicking on any image or link from our thumbnail display, will bring up a page with the
image
in a larger size, along with the commentary that accompanied the image in the Garden
Pathways
mailing series. The "back" and "next" links will take you back one image and forward one
image
respectively. You can browse through the whole collection sequentially by just clicking
"next".
From these image display pages, clicking on the image, or the "check sizes and prices at
Art.com" link from that page will take you to the Art.com information page related to that
particular image. From that page you can click on "zoom in" to see the image in yet a larger
size.
And you will also see what poster sizes the image is available in, and the price associated with
each
size.
When you decide you want to buy a particular poster, just click "add to cart". And you are
on
your way to adding a very beneficial visual focal point to your home or office. As an added
bonus, for every poster you order, the small commission that will accrue to Homeward Bound
Journal as an Art.com affiliate, will be donated directly to The Summit Lighthouse to
support the publication of the Teachings of the Ascended Masters!
